Easy-to-swallow KAL Lecithin capsules typically provide 180 mg of phosphatidylcholine, 144 mg of phosphatidyl ethanolamine and 108 mg of phosphatidyl inositol and contain an average of 61% phosphatides that occur naturally in all plants and animals. Lecithin generally contains a high percentage of linolenic acids and other natural fatty acids, choline, inositol and phosphorus. these substances are present together as phosphatides (or phospholipids). Phosphatides are insoluble in acetone. Lecithin is defined as acetone insoluble soy phosphatides. any liquid lecithin product can be analyzed to determine its actual lecithin content through an acetone solubility test. Regional differences in soil and growing conditions affect the lecithin content of soybean crops.
